The Full Story

I started learning languages on my own in at 32.  I took learning French as my first goal. It was the language that made most sense because my Daughter was about to start French Emersion Elementary School. I wanted to join her on a journey to learn french and It was enough motivation for me to begin a new passion project. After a couple years of French. I was at a very basic level of comprehension and speaking ability.

At 34 I decided to get into Spanish as well as Mandarin. The reason for this was because I fell in love with Spanish music and wanted to know what they were saying. The Mandarin goal stemmed from me being very intrigued with the Chinese characters and martial arts movies. I am still learning all these languages on and off but have now put a focus on a new challenge. Learning Tagalog is my new goal. I want to get to a level of comfort to have a fluent conversation with my in-laws who happen to be from the Philippines.   My videos started as a personal outlet to give me a way to stay accountable while I try to achieve my goal "To Become A Polyglot". Gradually over time, I want it to turn into an online community where anyone from beginner to advanced can come talk and learn about Languages and different cultures around the world.
